1. Does Wishes offer any sign-up bonuses?
Answer: Yes. Wishes will pay your organization $1,000 if we cannot help you raise more funds and save you money on payment acceptance. There’s nothing to lose and everything to gain.
2. Why do I have to provide my personal information if nobody “owns” a nonprofit?
Answer:
- Technically, nonprofits do have individuals in official positions (e.g., a chairman, board members, or others with signing authority).
- If there is no single individual owner, you may put 0% under the ownership section.
- However, we still need to tie the signatory to the nonprofit. That’s why the rest of the information on the form is required.
3. If our business information is publicly available, can the Wishes team just pull that data and submit it with our file?
Answer: Yes, we can gather the data from the public domain if it’s already available.
4. How does the application form work for automated approvals, transaction limits, and monthly volume?
Answer:
- The application form includes hard-coded parameters for automated approvals. By default, you’ll have a $10,000 high-ticket transaction limit.
- If you have a 650+ credit score and can verify nonprofit status, you’ll be automatically approved for $100,000 in monthly processing volume.
If you need more than $100,000 monthly volume or require a higher ticket limit, you have two options:

Option 1:
- Submit the application as-is.
- After submission, email sales@wishes.inc stating your requested monthly volume and high-ticket amount.
- A team member will get in touch within 24 hours.

Option 2:
- Email sales@wishes.inc with your business name, website, monthly volume request, and desired ticket size.
- Include a good phone number for follow-up.
- A team member will contact you within 24 hours.
5. Can I run fundraisers for both administrative costs and specific mission needs, and have donations for admin costs go to our business bank account?

6. Do we own our payment data and donor information?
Answer: Yes. As long as you remain a Wishes customer, we will never directly contact your donors unless you use the Wishes platform’s engagement features. We offer tools that make it easy for your organization to share impact data and usage of funds with donors, encouraging future donations.
7. What is the Founder Sass Society Inc, and how does it certify transparency and accountability?
Answer:
- The Founder Sass Society Inc., a California public 501(c)(3).
- Originally created as a private foundation supporting entrepreneurs and startups, it was later repurposed into a public charity to connect donors with verified causes and ensure clarity on how donations are spent.
- The Founder Sass Society issues transparency certifications to nonprofits that demonstrate accountability and ethical donation usage.
8. My nonprofit is new. I’m unsure about ticket sizes or monthly volume. What do I put on the application?
Answer:
- The application is primarily set up for auto-approvals and only requires a 650 credit score for immediate processing.
- If you do not meet the 650 credit score threshold but would still like to apply, please email sales@wishes.inc. You’ll receive a response within 48 hours.
9. I have other businesses that are not nonprofits. Can I still set them up with Wishes?
Answer:
- Yes. We work with a wide range of merchants and can support most business types.
- If your other business has established history, we can often get you set up within a day or two.
- For higher-risk businesses, email sales@wishes.inc first, and someone will follow up with you.
10. Is there a customer service line or 24/7 support?
Answer: Yes. Once approved, you’ll receive access to a dedicated customer support desk and integration support if needed.
11. What is the typical timeline for account approval after submitting the form and signing the application?
Answer: Approvals typically take 48–72 hours. After activation, we’ll set up your payment page and connect you with your dedicated customer success manager on the same day.
